Happy Easter/Passover Monday! I hope you and your loved ones had a safe and joyful Easter weekend, whilst adhering to public health measures. As we are trying to figure out this new normal (at least for a while), and how we can all do our part during this pandemic, we need to stay connected. Connecting with family and friends has never meant more. For me, my 69-year-old uncle was experiencing symptoms that were later diagnosed as pneumonia with the characteristic COVID-19 signs. This is why I cannot begin to express the importance of staying connected. If I didn't take the time to simply connect, and seek direction from a physician, the outcome would've been grave for our family. During our Easter/Passover celebration, I encourage every person to reflect on the inherent worth of each age group and to avoid the ageist notions that devalue our elders, and their contributions to our families and society as a whole. Let us stay home, stay connected, practice strategies such as respiratory hygiene, and wearing face coverings when out for essential items.
As for business, I will continue to voluntarily close the studio until further notice, to put the safety of our communities first and do what we can to curb the impact of this pandemic. Our new opening date will be Wednesday, July 1st barring unforeseen circumstances.
We are currently booking AUG-2021 and now offering bonuses for pre-purchasing plans, up to 9 months of affordable installments. Stay tuned for our session specials which will help to support our two makeup artists during these unprecedented times.
We are deeply grateful for your continued support and I will continue to pray for you, your friends and family's health and safety during this difficult time.
Xoxo Olivia
